Chautauqua Bike Rent is a seasonal bicycle rental facility inside of the Chautauqua Institution. Our Chautauqua Location shares a similar yearly open and close time every year. Below is a detailed explanation  

Our Months of operation are June to August annually

Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm

Sundays 9am-3pm

We offer road, mountain and hybrid bikes for adults. We do our best provide you insider information on local riding spots that you'll find anywhere. We also have all of the gear that you may need for a fantastic ride, including nutrition and hydration solutions.

Rent Your Next Bike

Renting your bike is easy! We work on a first come first serve basis. Here are the things you will need to have when you arrive!

Photo i.d. and credit card required for all rentals

All rates based on a bicycle type, not rider's age

Children under 18 must have parent present for rentals

NYS law requires all riders under 14 to wear a helmet

Did You Fall in Love?

If you rent a bike and decide that you can’t live without it, we’ll gladly put your rental fee towards the purchase of a new bike. Take home a new bicycle within 30 days of your bike rental and we’ll credit you up to one week’s worth of rental fees!
